On February 20, 2023, the 16th International Defence Exhibition & Conference (IDEX) was officially launched.
IDEX was founded in 1993 and held every two years. It is a large-scale military equipment exhibition in the Middle East. A total of 1,350 companies participated in the exhibition, attracting 130,000 visitors from 65 countries and regions (compared with the 15th Exhibition, the number of exhibitors increased by 50%, and the number of visitors increased by 209%).
This exhibition not only included world-renowned companies in the fields of military industry, aviation and defense equipment such as Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Airbus, Safran, etc. At the same time, nine military trade companies were organized by the State Administration of Defense Science and Technology of China, and made concentrated appearances in the form of a national exhibition group of "China Military Industry".
The China Exhibition Group is one of the largest national exhibition groups participating in this exhibition, with an area of more than 2,100 square meters. The scale and number of exhibits are all historically comparable. It has concentrated on displaying nearly 500 types of equipment, covering traditional security fields such as land, sea, air, space, and electricity, as well as emerging equipment fields such as network intelligence, unmanned and unmanned. Among them, dozens of products such as LY-80B air defense system and Bobcat 2000 All-Domain Maneuver Synthesis Camp were unveiled overseas for the first time.
