Online measurement technology of machine tools

Anhui Haery Aviation Power Equipment Co., Ltd. mainly develops and produces piston aviation heavy oil engines. Aviation engines have very good accuracy requirements. Its processing technology has many complicated processes and requires repeated clamping and positioning. So how to make the processing accuracy? Here we have to mention the online measurement technology of CNC machine tools.

At present, by equiping CNC machine tools with various types of monitoring devices (such as probes) to monitor the processing process of workpieces, fixtures, tools, etc., it is possible to promptly alarm after finding that the workpiece is out of order, the fixture is not installed in place, tool wear, and damage, etc., and compensate or replace it, which improves the degree of automation of the machine tool, and for the product quality of the CNC machine tool during long-term work. The development of online inspection of CNC machine tools provides a set of effective methods for quality inspection of CNC machining processes.

This article uses RenishauOMPTake the 60 probe system as an example, and let me introduce the application of online detection technology. At present, the Renishaw probe commonly used in China is produced by Renishaw Company in the UK and is widely used in CNC machine tools such as CNC lathes, machining centers, CNC grinders, and special machines. Renishaw probes can be divided into workpiece detection probes and tool probes according to their functions; they can be divided into hardwire connection, induction, optical and radio according to their signal transmission methods; they can be divided into contact measurement and non-contact measurement according to their contact form.
